Seeking Female Support Workers for a newly opened home in Cyncoed, Cardiff

  • Salary: £21,313.45 with a realistic earn up to annual salary of £27,385.08 PLUS company benefits
  • Full-time (37.5hrs a week) or part-time (from 25hrs a week)
  • Early shifts, Late shifts, Wake Nights and sleep-in shifts (paid at an additional rate of £45 per night)
  • It is essential that you hold a full, manual UK, EU or International Driving Licence from a designated country, as the people you will be supporting ask that you are able to drive their mobility vehicles.

We have recently opened a new home in Cyncoed, supporting five ladies, with disabilities and are now ready to add to their wonderful support team.

The ladies are looking for support workers who are confident, proactive, engaging and caring who will support them to live their best lives - the lives that they are choosing to live.

The ladies have learning disabilities and some additional needs, including epilepsy, some specific health conditions, Downs Syndrome and visual impairment.

This is a wonderful opportunity to really get to know a small group of ladies who will thrive with your person centred support and guidance.

Every day will be different, and rewarding, as you encourage and empower each person to be actively engaged in every aspect of their daily lives - this will include accompanying to favoured activities, supporting with daily living skills, administering medication and supporting with personal care and mobility assistance, if needed.
