About the role

This exciting and rewarding role involves supporting students with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, Dyslexia, and also challenging and disruptive behavior. With opportunities for a September start opportunities including day-to-day, long-term and permanent positions, our dedicated consultants will closely collaborate with you to ensure that each opportunity aligns with your specific requirements and career goals.

  • Assist students with SEN in their educational and personal development
  • Support the classroom teacher by facilitating student engagement and managing behaviour
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher and other professionals to create and implement individual education plans
  • Establish positive working relationships with students, promoting their self-esteem and confidence

Our client schools in Hull and East Riding are seeking dedicated and talented SEN Teaching Assistants to provide specialist support to young people for the next academic year.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of SEN Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Experience working with students with SEN
  • Willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students
  • Ability to work effectively in different classrooms, supporting students across various age groups and educational settings.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • Ability to work effectively in different classrooms, supporting students across various age groups and educational settings.
