Genesis Manufacturing are currently looking for an Injection Moulding Operative to work in Melksham (full training will be provided).
Monday - Friday between the hours of 0600 – 22.00 shifts. Alternate weeks of 06.00 until 14.00 and 14.00 until 22.00. Week of earlies, week of lates. Increment for later shift worked.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for immediate work based in Melksham. We are looking for a hardworking candidate to join the Injection Moulding Team for a leading manufacturer producing syringes, plungers and rings for our veterinary suppliers in the UK, Europe and Rest of the World.
In your role as an operative your daily tasks will include: either setting up or shutting down the machines, repairing machines if they have gone wrong. There is a lot of running around on this job, emptying barrels/plungers into boxes and taping them up then placing on pallets. Part of the role will also include cleaning the moulds.
· Experience in related manufacturing field would be ideal, full training will be given.
· An understanding of injection moulding processing and troubleshooting would be an advantage.
· Maintain machinery and equipment in good working order
· Complete preventive maintenance requirements as scheduled
. Able to and have the ability to run moulding machines, including set up and shut down
· Troubleshoot sources of problems by observing equipment in operation
· Replace defective parts and adjusting equipment
