Are you passionate about helping people or households facing hardship? Do you have experience of working as an adviser or assessor within Citizens Advice and knowledge of enquiry areas such as debt, housing and benefits?
Citizens Advice and the Trussell Trust have come together to deliver a free helpline service for people struggling to afford the basics. We are seeking a new member of the team to help us offer advice on maximising income and to address the underlying causes of hardship in the hope that this can reduce the need for foodbank support.
This role would suit someone who has good telephone skills and the ability to use sensitive listening and questioning to get to the root of the matter and empower clients to move forward in the most appropriate way.

The role can be based in any one of our offices across North Yorkshire (Northallerton, Richmond, Malton, Scarborough, Selby, Harrogate, Whitby and Skipton) or can be carried out as a fully remote role from anywhere in the UK.
